First check your lights visually through all functions - left, right, 4 way, headlights, etc to see if you can identify the problem. Then check connectors for the problem corner of the car. A lot of the lights are soldered in LEDs that are replaced as a unit. For example, brake lights / tail lights are the same bulb - the % on for each cycle controls the brightness. You won't find individual fuses or a mechanical flasher unit.

The "clicking" is notorious for coming and going while the lights still work perfectly fine. Be sure you have a light problem before going too crazy. My click came and went several times for a few months, but has been sounding perfectly for a year+.

I take it you are seeing a turn signal not working message on the DIC.

Turn signals are a lot more complicated than they used to be. C7 turn signals involve the multifunction switch, the BCM, the wiring from the BCM to the turn signal module at a particular corner of the car and a feedback signal sent to the BCM by that module to tell the BCM the turn signal is working. A problem in any of those places can mean the turn signal isn't working. Isolating the problem to the correct part isn't easy for the back yard mechanic since a scan tool is required to check some of the signals. Two of the modules involved in the front turn signals are expensive parts. If the problem is due to an issue in the headlight module the complete module must be replaced. That means pulling the front fascia and popping for the cost of a headlight module (the turn signal is an LED that is and integral part of the module and not separately replaceable).

Cost to purchase the headlight module yourself from an online parts supplier will be in the range of $1100 or at least it was when I had this problem last year. A DIY repair is seriously looking at least a $1100 bill.

If your car is under warranty take it to the dealer. If you have the GMEPP plan take it to the dealer. My dealer charged GMEPP $1837 to replace the passenger side headlight module in my car. The repair is no longer replacement of a couple of dollar turn signal bulb or flasher module. Even the ticking sound is an electrical signal sent by the BCM to the radio so the sound can be heard coming from the speakers.
