key fob not recognized
Twice in the last six months when trying to start my 17 Grand Sport, got a message that key Fob was not present (it was in my pocket)- One time I tried later and it recognized my Fob . The second time I was able to remote start it. Both times I tried both Fobs. The car has 13,400 miles and was purchased new in April 2017. Local Chevy service writer (who has been helpful in the past) said they could do nothing unless they could duplicate the problem. Unfortunately it will not perform on command. Any ideas?

It's not uncommon for some fob batteries to fail within a few years. Try the most inexpensive approach and replace the fob battery.
