Outside rattle
hey everyone,
Recently picked up a '14 z51 m7 and now noticing a rattle noise. Mainly hear it from the outside and would really have to be listening to notice it at idle from the interior.
Biggest fear is it being a torque tube, but don't know how to properly diagnose.
There is a thread i3 found dealing with a c6 along with a video he posted. My noise is very similar to his.

In that thread, it was suggested pressing the clutch in, putting it in to gear and holding it there. You are not trying to put the car into motion, but stopping the drivesaft from spinning to see if the rattle will stop.
I did this and the rattle continued, so is it safe to slightly assume it's not the TT?
Any other suggestions of things I can try to do before brining it to a shop?
