I would stick with tuners that use HP Tuners software. Most other solutions are grossly incomplete, like Diablo, beyond the control of the actual tuner.

You obviously have no 1st hand experience using a Diablo and heard from a friend of a friend
Having a custom tune done with CRM software is no different than using HP Tuners ..... And the device, if u know what you are doing can also allow you to modify many tables in the tune like FUEL , Spark and TCM programing and more ..

I have experience with both. HPTuners if far more robust in its tuning definitions and leaps and bounds better in data acquisition. But if you want a simple hand held device to upload an easy tune and have no interest in doing anything at all, a custom tune from Diablew isn't a bad choice for light mods. The canned Diablo tunes are trash so don't bother with it unless you're going to get a custom tune from Diablew.
You will have to buy the interface to upload to car , then buy the tune
if you are just tuning a stock or bolt on car using a Diablo and a tune from Lew is a better choice ..... for many reasons, DM me if you want more info
If you plan on doing bolt on's or more best bet is drive here to phx, we can install and tune the parts you want. I have 5 cars here now from Socal as we get a lot from that area including vegas, NM, west Tx.
