Default Brake Booster Rod

I asked before and didn’t get any answers. Changing the brake booster on 2019 Stingray and can’t get the rod apart from the pedal. New booster has rod and it looks like the rod slides into a nylon fingers. How do I release these fingers to remove rod. Is there a special tool? Can’t even find anywhere that even Shows a picture or lists the nylon receiver if that is what it is. PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE ME INFORMATION. I would think someone has changed a brake booster on a C7.
Thanks in advance.

I'll bite. Remove the brake pedal position sensor. Pull the brake pedal upward. Remove the retainer from the booster pushrod.

Edit: The retainer is not a reusable part.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll try that tomorrow. Hardest part is R&R the brake sensor. I did buy another one.
