Code P0503 VSS help
I had long tube headers and x pipe installed on my car (2015 M7 stingray) with a tune a couple weeks ago. Before I dropped my car off for the install/tune, the CEL never came on. After I got my car back it came on, on my way home. Turning out of his shop I did spin the tires and slid around the corner going down the street. I only had the car for a few weeks before I brought it to him so I didn’t drive it a whole lot beforehand but it had never popped up before then. Will it hurt the car or mess with my tune at all? Is it in “limp mode”? Still feels fast but not as fast. I’ve read up and down the forum and elsewhere for info on the VSS and this code but haven’t found much solid info or what to do/how to fix it. I don’t really want to bring it to the dealership or a shop (labor costs). If anyone has this problem or has a solution please let me know!! Thanks
