After buying my first Corvette one month ago we decided to take it on a little road trip, 300 miles each way. Corvette is a 2015 LT1 Stingray Coupe automatic with just over 13,000 miles. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, 19" front/20" rear, 32 psi during trip. Roads consisted of local, county, state and interstate, all with good stretches and most with not so good stretches. Speed 45-85 mostly.
Problem: Felt like the front end would "shutter" every once in awhile, no matter speed I could tell. Could go a mile or so and then just get a 15 second "shutter" and then quit. No rhyme or reason that I could see. I assume it's a front end problem but wonder if a transmission problem could cause that and just seem like a front end problem? I am completely open to any ideas because I have no clue. Thanks in advance.
Some folks with a A8 report a shudder with the car automatically going into Econo mode (DOD). There are a bunch of threads on it. I have a M7 which will not go into Econo by itself, so I don't know much about it, but there is tons of information about it. Many use the Range Technologies module which will keep it in V8 mode.
