Exhaust

I know this has most likely been asked before, but I picked up a slightly used 2014 z51 without the performance exhaust package. I have a chance to buy a axle back pair off of a ZO6 question is will they give me more sound and most important will they fit.

You won’t get much more sound out of another factory exhaust. Your best bang for buck would be to add an aftermarket x pipe that deletes the secondary cats and pulling fuse 42 under the hood.

The OP stated that his 2014 is without the performance exhaust (NPP). Removing fuse 42, if he has one, will not affect sound, since fuse 42 works with npp actuators. I agree that an aftermarket x pipe will help. The axle back Z06 mufflers will certainly be louder, since the npp valves are normally open. Also, I think that Z06 systems may not have secondary cats. How they will fit is open, but a good Vette shop or muffler shop should be able to install. He will not be able to use a quiet mode.
