I'm replacing the grille on my C7, along with one of the cameras. The camera is connected by this connector:
Naturally, one has to pull up the red tab, which releases the pressure against the inner shell:
But I'm stumped as to how to remove without further prying the lock tabs on the top and bottom out of their slots. Is there is a special tool for this or just really careful technique?
Press down on the tab. That'll force the white parts outward, releasing the other half of the connector. You might need to fight with it a little depending on how much grit has built up in there. But no special tools or prying are needed.
