Default C7 GS Pirelli Scrubs - Potential ABS issue?

Hi Everyone,

I was curious if someone can let me know if the below tire sizes will cause me any ABS issues? I can get the following scrub tires for my 18" track wheels -

Pirelli 305/645/18 on a 18x11 tire diameter: 25.2"
Pirelli 325/680/18 on a 18x12.5 tire diameter: 26.76"
- I calculated a 1.0619 ratio - is this OK with the C7s ABS system. I think the allowable range is 1.03-1.06?

Or I can get:

Pirelli 305/660/18 tire diameter: 26"
Pirelli 325/705/18 tire diameter: 27.75"

Thank you for your help!

I currently have those tires on my track wheels and they don't cause a problem. I have also run the 305/645/18 with the 325/680/18s with no issues. Tire size differences cause noticeable issues with traction control but not ABS or Stability Control.

I don't think ANY size will cause ABS issues on any C7, neither on C5, C6, etc. I think it's the same for stability control, too.

Now, traction control was a bit too sensitive on C5/6, but is a lot less sensitive on C7. I even drove the C7 with square tires to be honest, and only Touring mode seemed to be too sensitive to tire slips; I had no issues at the track in track mode.

In short, considering you'd very likely be using track tires in track mode, I don't think you need to worry about any of this at all.At least in my experience, any ratio worked just fine at the track (though extreme cases like the square setup had sensitive TC at the street in Touring mode).

Hey Bill, do you have any issues with rubbing in the front or rear? Also, what rim widths do you run? 18x11 front and 18x13 rear?

As others have said, option A works and you can use the 660 front tire if you want. The 705 rear tire is too tall and will rub badly (the 680 rubs too but it's tolerable).
