Looking for best wheel tire combination for 18 GS to autocross. Do not want run flats. RE-71R's look like the tire but Tire Rack says the 305/30 R19 won't work on a 19 X12" wheel. Michelin only makes run flats for the stock sizes and I need to go with a 200 treadwear tire. Any input is appreciated. Mike

Check BFG Rivals. They have been the other popular 200 tire for AX for several years now. There is also a Yokohama AO52 getting good reviews.

You might also consider the Goodyear Eagle SuperCar 3 tire. It's available in a 325/30ZR19 size that would work on your 12" wheels, and word is it's one of the faster autocross tires for our cars.
