Misfire and knock retard
Ok so I just installed a dash controller on my C7. I setup alarms for misfires and knock retard. I set alarms at misfires >= 1 and knock retard >= 1 degree. Under idle the alarm for misfires is triggered. It does go off but comes back randomly during driving. During acceleration the misfires seem to be less of an issue. Also the knock retard alarm was triggered when I went WOT but was no issue while driving normally or at idle. Driving under all conditions and WOT I never have gotten a CEL though.
So my question is if my settings are set too sensitively and some misfires and knock are normal? Or is my tune off and need immediate attention?
FYI my car is a 2014 Z51 cam, headers, x pipe, D1 procharger, and meth.
