Default Texas mile safety

On a 190 - 200 mph run would a hybrid hans device, helmet and the oem 3 point belt be enough or should I do race seat and full harness.

When I ran it a harness was not required at that speed. Just helmet, gloves, no open toe shoes, long sleeves, and pants. Race suit was not required.

As a 30+ year Salt Flats racer of four cars, let me say in all sincerity... over-do, don't under-do on ANYTHING safety related. Go fast and have fun!

I want to go 200 mph don't know if I will be able to do it. But decided to go race seat, harness,5 point rollbar, hans, and fire suppression. Appreciate your advise

Smart move.

If you don't hit your 200 mph goal the first time, you're prepared for future attempts.

Let me tell you from much experience, one small goof and you will never regret doing all you can to protect yourself (or, whomever is driving). This cannot be over emphasized. Trust me on this, I know what of I speak.

Slight hijack here, but if you want to do 200 mph look up Johnny Bohmer proving grounds. He holds test events at the 3 mile long runway at the Kennedy Space Center. I don't know what you're driving but for reference I did 180 mph in a stock C7 Grand Sport.
