Received my Soler throttle controller and installed yesterday. Test drove and WOW!!!! What a difference..........like the SP 3-7 range the best. Based on other thread suggestions, I installed inside the console. Here are the steps..........took about 30-45 minutes

1. Took off console lid.....no really necessary for access but kept me from accidently pushing on it and stretching hinge.......only takes removal of 3 small screws
2. Took off left side of console trim piece.....super easy with a small plastic pry tool......remember the tab closest to front does not pop out sideways, you have to pull backwards on trim
3. Took a small trim tool and popped out double USB port inside console. Once you pop it out there will be minimal clearance because wires will still be attached but it IS enough room.
4. Fished wire for controller along the side of the console just under the carpet and used a long, decent sized zip-tie and taped controller wire end to one end of zip-tie and fished it through opening created by popping out USB port.
5. Drilled a very small hole (really a half-moon shaped whole) on side of opening created by popping out USB port to make room for wire.
6. For now, just velcro-ed controller to console "floor" carpet....may mount to plastic side (between USB port and cig lighter port later.
6. Re-install in reverse

 

I installed one with their throttle body a few weeks ago and the difference was pretty amazing.

 

Neat !! Was wondering by putting in console you are rrsricted in make changes on the fly.??
