There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding the NPP and AFM exhaust valves. What models have it and which don't? In the video below I explain where the active fuel management valves (AFM) are and how how they work as well as the nuclear propulsion valves (NPP). Hopefully the video below helps folks out who may want to know more about how the exhaust system works. Enjoy you car and hopefully get a few miles in before mother nature brings some of us snow. AFM is bypassed when the car is tracked. The AFM valves burn up with the heat and become useless. Which is why GM has removed the AFM valves on some of the C7s.

To clarify, a Z06, with the manual transmission, does not have AFM valves. At least my 2019 does not not. Don't know about the automatics.

H-pipe and X-pipe are each unique exhaust configurations.
