Default PHX Tuner?

Looking for a Reccamendation for a local PHX tuner on my C7 A8 Z51. Please state why you think hes good.
I've seen all the names and websites and leaning toward one but no decision yet.
I'd like someone who spends the time and knows what works before starting to help save time and money
I'm sure most are OK but there must be one who adds that little extra and stands out.
I'm new to the area so thats my reason for asking for help
Thanks for any help.
Dan

I would highly recommend Cordes Performance Racing in Tempe, AZ. They tuned my car and did a re-tune after I made an upgrade. Joe is the owner and gives great advice based on your car and your goals for the car. Nic is the tuner and has gotten my car spot on both times, and he also provides great advice.

I haven't had my tuned yet put I did talk to Joe at Cordes and one other local shop. After talking to both of them I'm going with Cordes.

Tony at UMS. Takes the time to do a tune properly. NicD will take 10min and copy paste a tune.

My first dyno tune and two of the following updates after I made more mods, were done by Extreme Motorsports in Tempe. He only charged a much smaller amount for the two updates, about 25% IIRC. The owner even came to the track and made a couple of adjustments (no charge) based on timeslips, because dynos are only a rough substitute for actual street or strip performance.
I eventually bought HP Tuners and did my own tweaking of his tune for the last 10 years, as I continued making mods. I've held the top time (currently 10.80) on the C6 LS3 bolton fast list for 8 years, thanks to his good start and helpful advice after the sale.

A tune on your stock C7 A8 is a fairly simple tune. I don't even know if Extreme is still in business. But Nic can certainly do it as he did my C6 years ago. I have been doing my own for years also. The transmission tune is the one you will really notice. Not as much on the stock engine in my opinion.
