Default FULL tank reset mileage

I have a 2015 stingray and I just want to know how to zero out the mileage when you fill up the tank? It use to show 316 miles left now it only shows 170 miles left thanks a lot Eugene .

You are talking about the Fuel Range, correct? Almost every vehicle I have does this (trucks, suv's). It should level out after a while and get back to some sort of accuracy. With the Corvette make sure to use top tier premium gasoline and throw in some Techron every now and then.

The distance to empty is automatically calculated, thus you can't reset it. Its based on the current fuel level and average fuel consummation rate (MPG). So if you are driving the car aggressively the number will drop but should level back out after awhile of driving more conservatively.

Fill the tank, and see a low number? Go for a drive on the interstate at 70 MPH and watch the number go up as you drive. It uses live data of gas consumption and remaining fuel in tank to calculate the remaining miles on the fly. You cannot rest it to 0.

There are two trip odometers. I use trip A for between fills ups. I simply select trip A and hold the reset/OK button on the steering wheel to reset to zero. On the instant MPG page you can arrow right and reset it to zero as well.I don't think it will reset the mileage to empty thought.

True dat. My range changed significantly after spending time on a dyno. Don’t worry, it’ll fix itself.
