Default PDR Not Working

The PDR on my newly 2015 C7 isn’t working. I’ve tried several 32GB FAT32 SD cards including those recommended on this forum and the display always shows “no SD card inserted” I searched on this forum and found someone had the same issue and it was a defective card receptacle. I have found the part online but am wondering if anyone has changed one out, and if so how difficult it was to do.

Thanks.

Double check that the write protect switch on the SD card is set to UNLOCK. Easy to bump the switch by accident.

You probably know this but....the PDR slot is in the left side of the glove compartment not the slot in the center console. I made that mistake.

I’m sure someone said this in the forum before, but I missed it and am posting for someone in the future. I didn’t notice the “Quick Format” option checked in the Windows formatting for my SD card. Mine didn’t work in my 2015 Vette using the Quick Formatting. I removed the check from the Quick Format and used “regular” formatting. Everything works great now. Just passing along in the event this happens to someone else. I was about to just forget it and then noticed it. Drove it this evening and everything worked great.
