The cruise control on 2014 Stingray is not coming on. I can't find a fuse for it listed in the manual. Anyone have a similar issue or any ideas. I searched cruise control and got back returns for cruise and control which weren't very helpful.
Does the white symbol show when you push the top button on the cruise switches?
The BCM controls the voltage and information for the cruise control. The BCM talks to the ECM and manages the function. I don't see a fuse associated with the "Cruise Control" per se and problems would need a Tech 2 to find the issue.

When I couldn't find a fuse for it I figured that was the case. With everything else working I am not sure what is up, but no cruise control symbol shows up. I thought it might reset when I turned it off for a few hours, but it won't seem to work.
To do a "brain" reset, you need to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes or do the ALT-CTRL-DEL to the car, use your owner's manual to find the location of your ECM/TCM fuse (2014 is #52 in Engine Bay Fuse Box), unplug it for a few minutes and you should reboot. Disconnecting the battery negative terminal achieves the same result, but that a bit more time consuming.
We've read many times on here that a solution to a weird problem is to reboot the system. Reminds me of the CTRL-ALT-DEL move on the computers to reboot them.
Well, this does solve many issues when the car has a glitch but there is an easier way that digging down under the carpet, unfastening the negative lead, waiting for a few minutes , then reconnecting the lead, and reinstalling the carpet.
This will do the same thing as the battery cable procedure!

I accidentally pushed the on/off button by mistake and turned mine off. Pressed it again and the cruise control icon came back. Sounds like yours is more than that.
Two things that will keep a cruise control module from energizing are , if it's a stick , the clutch pedal position sensor and brake sensor or of its an auto , just the brake position sensor. Without seeing the results from a scan tool, that's where I would start
Didn't think about it popping an error, will have to get my ODBII reader out and see if anything went to the scan history.
TexTexSon a regular OBD scanner might not show you any errors as most will only read an error that is grave enough to send a request to the ECM to turn on the Check Engine light . You would have to have a scanner like a Solus or GDS2 to read the actual module conditions as a cruise control module is not considered a must have module on startup
An example of this is the P700 TCM code , it is just a generic code sent to the ECM that the TCM experence a fault , a normal scanner will not read the actual TCM fault

Should be, no changes and I didn't hit anything, but one more thing to check. I need to make time to get it back on the road, but other things keep getting in the way. Life is like that...
was it showing the crusie control icon before but not working ? Or it wasn't showing it at all?
in my case, the icon is there but CC doesn't work - I am thinking about Brake Padel Position Sensor
This is a bit of an old thread, but have you changed the battery lately? Reason I ask is on my 2014 M7 I had a similar issue and realized there is a small black wire connected to the negative battery terminal that was broken off. I’m not sure exactly what it is grounding, but I removed the connector and soldered the wire back on, put it back together and my cruise control was back to normal.
Symptoms I experienced: engage cruise control, white icon appears, set speed, white icon turns green for a few seconds, turns white again. While green, taking foot off the gas the car decelerates. The broken wire fixed the issue.
