I was wondering if anyone knows what happens if you add power without changing to a higher stall converter? Will your car just be sluggish on a launch? Thanks

Depends on how much power your car is making. I ended up adding a 4000 stall when making just less than 650rwhp supercharged.
Depends on your mods
Added typical bolt on's for an LT1 , ported intake manifold , Vararam CAI , headers , high flow cats, 3 inch x pipe and a tune . stock converter , I can pull a 1.7 1.8 60ft all day long on factory running craps on a track with minimal prep . just got a set of drag radial tires , I will let u know the improvement
Now if you are talking cam ... Baby cam, u can get away with stock stall anything bigger u need a 3,600 or better
Dave
How is that 4000 driving ? Any update on launching ?
Pitt
Still driving great.
Alky meth pump already took a crap so I just got that replaced and now my car is breaking up over 4500 rpm’s 😳
At the shop now they are doing leak down test after confirming spark plugs look good. Always something
