Default Brake rotors

I see alot of discussion about changing out brake pads to the low dust variety. I dont see anyone mention resurfacing the brake rotors. Is this not recommended or necessary on the vettes? Mine has 11k miles on it and I'm changing to the red powder coated calipers and the z26 pads. The rotors have a little wear but no cracking or hot spots. I was going to pull them and have resurfaced but I was reading all these threads and didn't find a single mention of anyone doing this.. ZO6 with iron brakes...

I would just do the bedding procedure. When switching between my street (Z23) and track pads (ST-43s) I don't even bother with that step anymore. After a few days of driving the pad material evens out and things are fine.

As long as the rotors are not showing signs of uneven pad deposits or warpage then I would just slap the new pads on, follow the pad manufactures bedding procedure and go about the day.

Under hard track use the rotors fail via cracking, no real need to resurface. With 11k of street miles they should be like brand new, slap on some new pads and go.
