Hello brother, I am Muhammad from Iraq. I own a 2017 Corvette. I have an oil leak problem between the engine and transmission. Can anyone help me please?

Welcome to the forum. Not a common problem that Ive heard of. Should be under warranty. Do you have a GM dealer there?

Rear main seal? Is it supercharged?

The problem is that there is no support here in Iraq for this car, and I buy spare tools from Dubai. I need to communicate with someone so that I can send a video and pictures of the leak. Can we talk to each other? WhatsApp +9647704397139

Welcome!

For your information, the transmission is NOT in the front, but is at the rear of the car bolted to the differential. The tapered housing at the rear of the engine contains the clutch for manual transmission cars or a flex plate for automatics. The power is transmitter to the rear by a torque tube rotating inside a fixed, rigid tube. See picture below.

This picture is from the top. Do you have a picture from the bottom so that I can locate the leak? I will send you the pictures of the leak shortly

Looks like source is the oil filter gasket from a previous serious leak. Are you losing any engine oil now? Clean off the oil for future leak diagnosis.

Looks like the filter. The writing on it looks like chinese or japanese. Buy a good oil filter. Wix or Napa from Amazon if they have it.
Wash it real good and get all the oil off, then check it every day untill you spot oil.
My guess is with a good oil filter it will stop.

I agree, it looks pretty dry in the bell housing when you removed the rubber window cover. Good advice to give it a good degreasing wash down to find the source of the leak.

Good advice above.

After you remove the old oil filter, make sure that the gasket has also been removed. Put a drop of oil on the new filter's gasket and tighten.

Gaskets can stick and double gaskets will probably leak.
