Default Mag Ride Control Upgrade Question

I know there was a MRC upgrade available for pre 2019 cars. I had it done on my 2014 Z51. It made quite a difference on ride quality in touring mode. I now have a 2019 Z06. I was under the impression that all 2019 cars came with the updated program already. My car has a build date of 06/13/2018. I would assume my car came with the updated program but it rides more like my Z51 did prior to the update. Is there a way to check if indeed it has it? I seem to remember there was a link to a GM site that one could enter the VIN and get info on what programs were in the car, I've searched but can't find that here.

Thanks
Joe

2019s are already upgraded. GM took the 2019 software and made it available to the 2014-2018 cars.

Does your Z06 have the Z07 package? That might explain the difference. The larger wheels and thinner sidewalls might also contribute to the difference.

Mine is not a Z07. But just the wider wheels/tires could be it.

IIRC, Jim Mero said each model and trans type has the programming tweaked to match the weight and spring rates, even though the shocks themselves are identical. Your '19 Z06 program is different than a '19 Stingray or any other model '19. It's no different than an engine tune that you change to match power mods.
