I have been using my local Autozone for batteries for 25 years. It's 3 blocks from my home, open 7 days a week til 9 pm, and they'll install a new one in the car in 5 minutes and credit back the core charge all in one swipe of my card. They even have done my ski boats. No waiting or appointment necessary. They don't care if it's raining either. Always very pleasant and polite.
Why would I hump around heavy batteries with service like that available. Their best battery usually lasts at least 4 years. I get new wiper blades installed at the same time, they carry Bosch.
Why set yourself up for a hassle at a dealer.

"Why would I hump around heavy batteries..." For the same reason many of us change our own oil, etc., to be sure it is done correctly, every time. I'm pleased you have a trustworthy option that won't tear your carpet or worse changing the C7 battery, but many of us don't have that, I assure you.
