I was looking and I saw that Mightymouse upgraded/updated their catch can design. I decided to do a video on it showing the internals and it looks pretty good. Also this is not about whether or not you need one, but I'm just showing the updated one if anyone is interested. I'm not selling anything, its just for membership info if anyone is interested.
Thanks for the reply, Do you guys have any directions on how to hook up the breather can to a dry sump c7 with a centrifugal super charger? There seems to be so much misinformation on the proper way to hook it up. I’m very interested in buying one but it’s hard to find a proper build thread on how to properly hook it up with the current mods listed
If I buy one and get it all figured out I would like to make a nice DIY on it
thanks, John

Also to existing owners, this center we began shipping as soft launch April 2020.
Here is an easy way to tell if you have one or not:
This is a direct fit upgrade for any cans that have the brushed body and the laser etching as seen here:
Yup @AD2386 Yours looks like the one that can be upgraded, as you have the etching on the side. You can always shoot Dave a message on email. He is pretty good with getting back to people quick. I would do it, as I think the new design is much better !!!

I am guessing you are referring to one of our PCV kits, and an LT1 engine trim? At any rate all of the instructions are linked on the website product pages, and a hard copy is included. Where most people go wrong is that they do not make sure to understand them. Just email us with any question that may arise and we will ensure it is completed properly.

Hey John, I think the best thing to do is reach out to Dave directly on this one with the specifics of your build. He is quite a knowledgeable guy and I'm sure can help you out.
Question..Your photos of the "Mild" kit shows a breather line going to the intake. What is the point of having the can if you still run breathers to the intake?
Thanks

I am guessing you are talking about the red filter top on the can, that is our pressure release, which is closed during any vacuum operation.
I'm talking about the vent line from the drivers side head to the stock air intake. Your Wild kit shows that line running from the head to your vent.
Not the case with the mild kit.

That is oem for some c7. Our wild system addresses pressure related oil which can push oil out there, in addition to pcv return oil, where our mild system concentrates more on the return side of the system between valley and intake manifold. I suggest anyone inspect their hoses and look for oil in one place or both to better determine the best strategy for them specifically.

What is the purpose of an oil catch can? Does it collect and have to be emptied?
removes oil and other contaminants that would otherwise be consumed / burned internally or settle and build on internal engine components such as intake valves where It would reduce head flow and combustion efficiency.
In my experience on LS3 with miles you will find oil puddled in the intake after the throttle body which will be sucked into the motor at high rpms and besides building up on your valves and lowering flow numbers will enter combustion chamber and effectively lower your octane level/cause spark knock which will cause timing retard and less horsepower. Some people will debate if it is necessary and I'm not sure if there is a way to quantify but after Mighty Mouse there was no oil in my intake. I want all my horsepower, all the time...
