I just installed my MSD intake and a Solar Performance 100mm TB. Does anyone know how i can fit the AFE intake Momentum series for a 2018 C7 Z51? I am having such a hard time installing the wind tunnel to the filter and throttle body. Not much room to work with plus the silicone sleeve appears to be useless for this set up..
It almost looks like you mounted the boot on the intake section backwards? Here is mine installed. Looking at this pic, I will need to get you a better angle.
No it is not backwards. It just looks funky because the throttle body is so big and i had to stretch the boot to fit.
Unfortunately this Soler Performance TB does not match the MSD intake Bolt holes, that is why they provide the spacer adapter. I bolted on the OEM TB and i was able to get a proper fit but that just defeats the purpose of my MSD intake .
i am looking to see if i can get a refund on this $600 TB
Elongate the TB holes and ditch the spacer. The spacer has always been a terrible option. I don't know why the TB guys don't actually make this an option during their machine work.
