Default 4 Post Lift

Anyone have an opinion or advice on the hydraulic oil change interval on my hobby auto lift? Its a SuperLift-long out of business-with nothing in the assembly manual that I
could find. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks, Bob

It varies with the amount of use your lift gets. According my installer, "hobbyist" lifts (like most of ours) can go several years between fluid changes. Assuming yours uses cables, periodic inspection of them and adjustment for stretching (every couple of years, unless you note unusual behavior, sounds, etc.) is more important.

You could mark the plastic tank that holds the oil, Empty the old oil out then put new oil into the plastic fill tank with it on the ground & no car on it then raise it a little at a time & fill it back up like that. This way you will have the same amount as before & will not hurt nothing when you lift it up with no car on it. Also this way it will be up to that mart when you put it back down to the ground the oil goes back into the tank like that. Robert
