Default 2014 LCD Flat Flexible Cable

I am trying to figure out where to purchase the flat flexible cable for the LCD connected to the F-Display.. My LCD screen went blank and the unit is on back order from GM and they are not indicating an ETA..
I figure I try replacing the FFC to see if that would fix my issue.

I believe the cable has 21 pins.. It's a type-A.. I don't know the pitch.

I could not find the cable from Axon.. Axon is stamped on it.

Info
28316850
AXON CABLE
K52174

P.S If someone knows where I can get an f-display in stock, that would work too.
Thanks.

You might check with Cultrag here, a Forum vendor. Good luck.

A dealer won't be able help you. It's not sold as a separate part.

Found US Axon website and contacted sales about the FFC. Waiting on a response.

Good luck. What makes you think it's the flex cable and not the USB/LVDS cable?

Are you speaking of the blue cables? The connections appear to be solid. I inspected all the connections and couldn’t find any signs of damage. The FFC cable was crimped. Figure it was cheap enough to try and replace, if I can find the correct replacement.

That's cool. I was just curious to know about other symptoms to be on the lookout for.

Jeff, there’s another flat cable, yellow in color that connects to the same board and lcd that the FFC connects to. Those type of connections dry out and become brittle over time, but mine is in good shape. I don’t think it’s an issue. If I can find the parts, it can be fixed.

I'm aware of that. I've got a whole spare display unit I use for bench testing.

Nice! When the whole unit will be available, I will too. I plan on replacing mine eventually.
