Default computer issue ?

ive got a 2019 stingray , fired it up after winetr hibernation ,had the tender on it all winter . About a month ago i put it in the garage and didnt hook up the bat tender cause i didnt think it would sit for long , unfortunately it did and when i went to start it it almost wouldnt turn over , i tried again and she fired off . So i go for a sticker and guy tells me computer has no info drive it for about 200 miles and come back, so i did and still no info in computer ! I had the 4 cyl delete plugged into the port so he thinks thats the problem , so he says unplg it and drive it another 200 miles and dont use any accesories including the a/c then come back and try again . My question is can a deakership reprogram the computer and get me a sticker or do i have to drive around for another 200 miles ? thanks in advance

He's correct. Take it out of the plug, drive the car and then get retested. Common problem when you run the "Range" unit.

Sticker as in window dressing that says you have passed the emissions check for the State/county that you live in would be my guess.

This might explain why my steering wheel controls for the radio stopped working. Battery did not drain, but car sat for a few weeks with range in it and not on the charger.

Thoughts?

Raange early models I believe did do a battery drain but the newer ones have been revised and the problem has been eliminated.
