Took 2017 c7 A8 into Chevy dealer for TC shudder. They invoiced me for transmission flush. Thought it should be covered under powertrain warranty. Anyone know a definitive answer and recommendations on how to proceed.
Update: was charged over $400 for the transmission flush to correct TC shudder. Contacted Chevrolet Customer Care and they finally offered to reimburse me $103. Said the codes in the TSB pertained to bumper to bumper warranty and not drive train. The C7 is a 2017 with less than 20,000 miles. Any advise on how to proceed?

Reason: Update
Triple flush on my 2016 C7 A8 was done under powertrain warranty at no cost and no questions asked. I had a copy of the TSB with me at the time of the service, think it is TSB-18-355 but am not sure. I can look it up but I am sure someone will know if that is not correct.
TSB-18-NA-355, it is supposed to be done under Powertrain Warranty at customer's request. Do not have to have proof of shudder, is done at owner's request, no questions asked. I had no problems with getting mine done at the dealership at no cost to me.

Take a copy of the TSB with you. The procedure is required to be completed as part of the Powertrain Warranty when a customer complains of the shudder. As long as your car is still within the Powertrain Warranty period it is covered.
