I would use meth but I wouldn't be dependent on it for a fuel source, unless the system had a fail safe. I would use it for cooling and cleaning purposes only, that's just my opinion.

I don't track my car. I think if you run out of meth you can still drive normally without going into boost, right?

Yeah, but I would still want a fail safe if it were my car. What if you run out of meth in the middle of a WOT pull without a fail safe? If you're using it as a fuel source, there goes your motor.
I use my washer tank like many others for my meth. Your low fluid light will come on when your low. Unless your into it constantly, you’ll just top it off maybe once a week. It’s really no big deal .
They are going to put a little tank in the trunk area, left rear. Fits in there perfectly and the top still closes so you can't see it. Yes, there is a light showing its low on meth, I'm not really worried about it. I only drive it on the weekend and its not like I'm going in to boost very often.
Depends on how you use the car. 100% street and/or drag strip use, meth is fine as long as you make sure the tank is full prior to your runs. It's a cheap way to get around fuel system limitations but it is a second fuel source you need to manage. There is no such thing as using it only for cooling/cleaning. It is ALWAYS a fuel source, especially if you are adding timing to get more power from it's cooling properties. Doug@ECS is who you need to talk to, OP. He's on here.
I use methanol injection on my boosted Cadillac and IF I run out of meth the tune has a fail safe built in. Car pulls power and it’s noticeable. I run a 5 gallon tank in the trunk.

Meth is a great upgrade for the LT engines with boost. It helps the three biggest issues the LT engines have one boosted. First it adds fuel which is the first hurdle you'll run into with boost. The stock LT1 injectors hit their limit as early as 550rwhp. Next the added cooling is big if you plan on running higher boost levels. The LT1 pistons aren't very strong so keeping them down is important. Last, it adds octane which will help prevent detonation and with the LT1s high compression this is a big factor for getting past 600rwhp without gernading your motor right away.
We sell and install the Alky Control kits. They are easy to install and maintain. We added over 75rwhp on our shop car with one.
Its a gateway drug...Cure the fueling issue and stress less.
On my turbo car it cools the charge and provides fuel.
I run E85 spraying methanol from 2500 rpm up making
25lbs of boost. 430 horsepower from a 2.0 liter. When I built my car there was no other solution. It’s a 2.0L LTG in an AWD Cadillac ATS. Now there are fuel solutions available but I’m done with this thing. It’s basically my foul weather car at this point as I daily drive the Stingray.
