Default Technical differences of the LT1 engines
Hi I was curious about all the LT1 engine differences. like the specific differences of LT1 found in stingray models vs the z51 LT1 vs the Grandsport LT1

The Z51 and GS have the dry sump oil system.

That's the only difference I know of... but its a big one when it comes to checking the oil or doing an oil change.

Some companys like Magnuson don't build SCs for the wet sump motors. They did build one early on but dropped it and just build the dry sump version for the C7. They do build it for the Lt1 Camaro's which I had on my Gen6 16 SS.
