Just think of how easy it is to break the backend loose now with the throttle lag ... imagine how many would be wrapping their cars around a pole if it was a true one to one relationship between the gas pedal and the throttle body . I choose not to modify in my tune , I use a vitesse throttle controler because I feel having the ability to adjust on the fly let's me launch my car harder at the track and be more consistent
Dave
Sorry Dave, but this is absolute BS! They never did it before. The C6 , at least mine had none of this. So Dodge must be doing this on the Scat Pack,Hellcat and Demon? The Mustang GT350, this must be true also. And for the old guys that just say, I mash the gas harder.. LOL you have no idea what your talking about. When I 1st got my Vette I was really disappointed. I got on these forums right away and learned about the soler throttle controller, bought one and the car is perfect now.

I have no idea.... really ..... I am glad u are here to set me straight ....
The Vitesse throttle controller came about years ago because of the throttle lag with LS1 , LS2 ans LS3 cars ... along with ported throttle bodies, been around this block more than a few times ..
Your welcome Dave, I'm just here to throw some divine wisdom on my fellow Corvette owners. But I can tell you for a fact, I didn't feel any throttle lag on my C6. That's why when I got my C7 I was so disappointed it didn't have the snappy response like the C6 did.

The '12 GS I just traded off did have quite a bit of "throttle lag" so much so that after installing a Pedal Commander I felt an immediate difference. Just my experience.

Yes throttle lag absolutely was not limited to the LT platform
You , me and about 100,000 others that had an LS platform engine experienced the same tip in lag. Stick cars more than autos.
It is called reverse exponential and it was programed into them all . The throttle blade movement was never linear and has always been a complaint since drive by wire was introduced
on the LS , 25 % of pedal travel only equaled maybe 15% blade , 50% pedal movement = 40 , 75% = 70% and 100% = 100%
Hence the invention of the throttle controllers or some guys just went in and modified the tune ...
My A8,, really noticed the lag when I’m passing someone, and hit the throttle, huge delay! I don’t notice when I’m just driving around town
there doesn’t appear to have any lag?
