Changed oil in the late fall since it was nearing 5%. In Ohio so it sat most of the winter in storage. Have about a thousand miles since last change and a note appears on the dash - Close to time to change your oil 5%.
Normally I would just reset it. with all the electronics and stuff I opted for the extended warranty. Should I change the oil? Really is BS to have it based on time and not usage.
There are a gazillion such posts here. The "clock" tells you to change the oil every year if it moves under its own power or not during that time. If out of drive-train warranty, change whenever you do any other vehicle, if still covered change it every year to be on the safe side... all the best.
