Hi there. I have a 2014 Stingray and have been trying to figure out on the tour mode gauge appearance how to get the speed to show in the middle of the tach. Mine seems to only have a picture of a white vette available. I have scrolled all the way through but can’t get it, even when I select info, performance etc. Just wondering if maybe it wasn’t available in 2014? Anyone have any experience with this they can share?
There could be a difference between 2014 and 2015, however, I can't see it when I compare the two Owner's Manuals. When you have the tour display with the digital coolant, oil temp and oil pressure in a column to the right of center can you use the controls on the right side of the steering wheel to toggle through various displays in the center until you get to a speedometer display?
Yes I can toggle all the way through. But the very top is the photo of the Vette. I think this is where the Speedo should be. I googled before looking here and have seen the Vette photo but have not been able to find where anyone mentioned this. Is your Speedo the first selection?
It annoys me too. I've thought about trying to retrofit a 2018+ cluster that has the upgraded track mode gauges too. The car's electronics don't usually scare me, but I don't want to risk screwing up my odometer.

Yes. The funny thing is I have the speed displayed there but rarely pay attention to it since I also display it on the HUD and it is a lot easier to see on the HUD. When I am on track I glance at the Tour display gauges after I enter a straight since they are the only place where all of the data is shown on a 15 model year car. However, I monitor the tach and speed on the HUD since I don't have to take my eyes off the track and other cars to see those two instruments. On VIR's back straight, cars are cresting a blind hill at around 150 mph so it behooves the driver to be watching the flagger at the top of the hill for any signs of trouble on the other side. At 150 mph the car is covering about 220 ft per second so time spent looking at the IP is time spent not looking where I am going. With the Z I am near the rev limiter in 4th and getting ready to shift to 5th at the same time so the HUD provides feedback of what the car is doing without glancing down, refocusing my eyes to see the IP tach and then glancing back up and waiting for my eyes to refocus on the track. That also lets me see whether or not a slower driver gives me a passing signal soon enough that I don't have to lift off the throttle.
