First timer here., I have a 2015 Z51 and need some advice. I would like to add long tube headers and was wondering if I have to purchase X pipes and high flow cats or can I stick with my stock exhaust?? I just added an AFE cold air intake. I appreciate any and all advice.

If you go Corsa long tubes. Corsa says you need their xpipe. However I know someone that runs the stock OEM xpipe off the corsa long tubes wihtout issue.
ARH catted mid lengths should bolt up to the stock xpipe
Correct me if Im wrong guys but ARH, TSP, and Kooks all require their xpipe?
for headers i believe a tune is needed, so be sure to budget that in... i could be wrong on that one.
some headers are built to use the xpipe they make so you need to research what brand you are going with to be sure.
also u have some decisions about cats on the headers and on the xpipe, no cats on headers but on xpipe or no cats on both..
i believe all will fit with at the back with the factory axle back exhaust connections, do you have the npp valve exhaust?
overall there are lots of decisions and research to do..
Long tubes will generally require their X-pipe, especially if you use the high-flow cat option and also if you use one of the popular vendors like Kooks or ARH. They move the cats into the front of the X-pipe itself which isn't where they are on the OEM setup. Plus it's a 3" x-pipe which is bigger than the OEM. You will absolutely need a tune with LTs, don't drop $3500 on headers and skip the tune, you'll be fighting CELs forever and be down on power which negates your investment. They will all fit with the stock axle-back exhaust though. I've got Kooks with the stock NPP and it's awesome.
