Yes I have. It was working fine then one day I noticed it was blank. Is the sensor the same one that the computer uses for input to the ECM or is it separate?
It's a separate sensor that's wired to the instrument cluster. Take it out and drive it a bit. It's more common after the battery has been disconnected. But sometimes they flake out for no apparent reason. It usually come back after a couple miles. I've had the same problem.
The sensor is located in front of the radiator / intercooler if its a zo6. It’s cheap to replace and can be accessed from either underneath if you take the lower cover off. Or you can reach it from above by the radiator. My shop forgot to plug mine back in when they upgraded my heat exchanger / intercooler & i was able to plug it back in from the engine bay without removing the lower covers.
I looked for it this morning and I believe it's supposed to be on the pass side. Is it accessible from under the hood or do I have to go under the front end to replace it? Thanks.
