Default Track tire wear

I am switching to C7 GS and wonder how much tire wear do do experience. I know tire wear is very sensitive to a lot of different conditions like track, tire, skill level, driving style, ... but overall I would like to target 1.5x set of tires per season considering I track around 10 days per year. Sometimes front and rear wears differently.
Would appreciate if you could share your experience considering the following the following conditions are met:
* advanced/instructor level
* PS Cup 2 (very popular for C7) or R compound - all sizes
* all tracks

For reference I wear 2 sets front for one set rear on BMW for Toyo RR.

I run a C7 Z06 a little heavier with a higher top speed. The Cup 2 tires lasted about 3 track days plus several thousand road miles. I usually use aftermarket wheels with 18x11 front wheel and an 18x12 or 18x13 rear wheel. On the front wheel, I typically run a 305/660/18 Pirelli Slick and on the 18x12 rear wheel, I will run a 325/680/18 Pirelli Slick. I purchase them used from GT Racing Tires in Wisconsin. I can usually get at least 6 track days out of a set. I have also run Hoosier R7 315/30/18 in the front and 345/35/18 on the 18x13 wheel in the rear. The R7s will last about the same as the Pirelli tires if I purchase them used. All 3 tires seem to have close to the same level of performance with the Pirelli's providing the most bang for the buck with the R7s next and the Cup 2s last. The Cup 2s seem to fall off quicker and the rear tires have a tendency to delaminate (the tread block just outboard of the inside tread block will peel off the tire. It almost looks like somebody took a razor to the tire and just peeled the rubber in that area off the tire.

Appreciate the feedback. Does front and rear wear at the same level? I noticed on those newer, fast and heavier cars the front passenger (considering clockwise track) wears faster.

I never used Pirelli but you said they have similar performance as R7? I assume they get replaced due wear and not heat cycle?

In my case, the fronts wear twice as fast (similar tires to Bill's). I tried to swap the fronts corner to corner or flip on the wheel, but it didn't help as much as I hoped.

I get a few track days out of fronts, and double that at the rear. My tracks here in Pacific Northwest have porous surface, though, which accelerates the wear (but works well during sprinkles)

what I learnt with Toyo RR is that I need to flip them on the same rim every 2 track days to assure inside wont cord prematurely. before doing that I lost a tire with 50% life on outside due lack of flip. After I flip them on the same rim I also swap front driver / passenger sides as driver side is the most punished tire. It definitely helped me to extend life on the front tires for one additional weekend.
On the rear the flip is not as important but still do it as required. Also wear on the rears is less.
Last but not least I stop balancing the tires as it doesnt make difference as they move on the rim due extreme loads. It helps saving $$.

Using wheels with knurled beads (with no paint) helps a lot with the tire slip on the wheel. My tire shop also doesn't use that mounting soap, increasing friction.

In any case, if you are easy on the tire until it warms up, especially on braking, the chances of slip is also much reduced.
