Default A8 Shudder

I know that this subject has been talked about many times, but I need some more insight in the A8 Shudder issue. I have a 2019 Stingray with 7K miles and are experiencing the A8 Shudder issue, I think. When I accelerate, I get the "rumble strip" like feeling for a short period of time. I monitor the "V8 to V4" transistion on the display and it does not do it when changing from "V8" to "V4" mode. Does the Shudder issue only happen when transistioning from 8 to 4 cylinders, or does it happen any time? I am trying to figure out whether this is the "A8 Shudder" or just road variations affecting the tires, causing the rumble strip feeling.

If it was the road, you'd feel it if you were accelerating or not. (rumble strips in the center line for example)
Go back to where you felt it and let off the gas to check.
2019's have the updated trans fluid, so if this persists, it may be something with the converter or torque tube etc...

In fact, only Corvettes produced after 2/1/19 have the updated fluid from the factory. If your Vette was produced prior to 2/2/19, you are eligible for the triple flush under warranty. If you qualify, I would have it done immediately. The attached copy of the TSB will tell you everything you need to know. Also, consider getting rid of the AFM (V4/V8) mode. over time it's a drive train killer in the Corvette.

Quick question. I have a 2015 Stringray that had the torque converted replaced in 2016 because of this issue. Now it's doing the same thing. Is GM doing the flush and fluid replacement at no charge in these circumstances? Anybody have this condition after replacement? As far as I know they did not upgrade the fluid when the tc was replaced.
Thanks

I doubt it. You should ask your Service Manager for a definitive answer. The flush procedure is more involved than the drain and refill process.
