Default Tire pressure monitors

If you let all the air out of the tires do the monitors have to be reset even if you put the wheels back in the same position as removed LF RF LR RR

I don't know for sure about letting all the air out. But I can tell you that I swap tires 2 times per month to run autocrosses and I don't pay any attention to where I mount the tires. Obviously front vs rear is not mixed up but left vs right I pay no attention to. And the TP sensor system doesn't seem to care.

NO. You can leave them in the same place or you can swap tire positions from side to side, then drive the car (run flats let you drive the car) it will learn the new positions and report 0 tire pressure in all 4 wheels with each wheel being in the new correct position. It doesn't really matter as the car learns the wheel position and tire pressure for that position. The car learns where the sensors are located just by driving the car.
