Default Monster clutch install question

So I pulled my engine to install my 416 stroker , so the monster triple didn’t come with install directions but I’ve installed clutches before with no issues . I bolt it up and put the engine back in. I then noticed a billet spacer which after research is a slave cylinder spacer … idk how I missed it but either way I did. After reading some applications need it some don’t. Hoping someone can chime in and let me know if it’s needed or not .

There should be specs for the clutch. On a triple disc there should have been a couple of measurements taken to know if you need the spacer. Measurement from the tq end of the bellhousing to the pressure plate fingers and a measurement from the face of the tq tube itself to the slave fully compressed. Unfortunately without having the slave shimmed to the correct spot you’ll either have engagement issues or clutch wear problems. If I recall the specs are on monsters website.

Im sorry but it’s the only way to measure. I’d contact monster or check their website at this point before pulling back apart but I’d be surprised if they tell you it’s ok.
