Hello, I posted something similar before but Now I have a slightly different question. Anyone recommend any brake kits for the c7 that can fit 18/19 inch wheels and not the 20 inch? I’m trying to keep the budget to around 5,000 or less. I’m currently looking at the willwood a06 or something similar to that name. Anyone have experience with the kit and would like to give their input? Or anyone have experience with another kit that would like to try and sway me to it? my xp12 brake pads that I paired with the stock system are too aggressive for car cause GM decided to put a dining plate as the brake rotor as well as some other... lacking components on the stock brake system. I track my car and had massive brake fade last time I was out on track with the new pads. I have RBF 600 brake fluid in and it did help keep the brake fade away for a couple laps more but still the same result in the end. I also have the aftermarket brake ducts to cool the front rotors but still no avail. I’ve tried everything to keep myself from having to spend the stupid amount of money on a proper brake system but I guess I just have to bite the bullet and get the upgrade.
on a side note if anyone has any recommendations on camber kits it would be appreciated. I think I’m running the max camber front and rear (2.5) but the car still needs more.

thanks!
Which C7 model do you have ?
If you buy Z06/GS steel brakes with Gyrodisks and good pads like XP12 or equivalent you should have no issues...
Which aftermarket brake duct kit have added? Have you thought about adding the 2017+ Z06/GS track brake duct kit to your car? I use that on my 2015 Z06/Z07 and with the Essex AP Racing front brake kit (with 372 mm rotor) it works well. The AP kit fits under 18-inch wheels that have a smooth inner barrel like my CCW C10 18x11 rims.

Should be way less than $5000....
If im not mistaken the brakes on the GS only fit 19/20 and not the 18/19 I have. I looked into gyrodisks but i dont think they make any kits for the stingray. only GS and up

Bill
Im using the same GS/z06 duct that comes from Chevy on mine. If im not mistaken I think you recommended it to me on another thread hahaha.
If ap racing makes a kit that can fit an 18 inch that would make me consider it. (Im a sucker for how ap racing calipers look LOL)
How much is the AP racing kit and do you only have the front? I know the corvette has like 70% of its braking from the front tires but I was thinking I still needed front and rear to make sure the brake bias works propery

You are mistaken. I run 18 inches wheels on my GrandSport for AutoX and Roadcourse and my 372mm brakes fit without any issues. I'm using 18" MRR ZR1 replicas flow formed wheels... It's a tighter fit with CCB (390mm) but some 18 works with them as well.

hmmm, I think ill give gyordisk an email to see if it can fit my 18's. thanks for the info. gyrodisk was my first pick before the wilwoods.
