Default AFE CAI or Attack Blue filter?

I am looking at both the CAI and just the attack blue filter. The filter alone is roughly $150. Is a full AFE CAI worth the difference in price? Pro’s and con’s of each? My Vette is a 2017 Grand Sport unmodified.

If I go CAI
  • is AFE the preferred kit?
  • Which model AFE Power 54-74201 or AFE Power 54-74201-1. Summit’s site doesn’t really show the difference.
  • oiled or dry?
Thanks!
Wade

IMO, neither offers a noticeable difference in performance for a GS. But if you do purchase, I would go dry.

I wasn't planning on spending the money on a CAI so I bought the attack blue in the fall before putting it in storage. Over the winter I found a AFE intake ( dry filter) for 1/3 of new so I had to buy it. I also like how its supported with a Diablo tuner (that I have from my old C6) so excited to get that all installed when it isn't -40.
