Belt Size issue..

Default Belt Size issue..

Hey guys,

I just swapped out my LT4 belt tensioner with a LT5 tensioner and bracket. You have to replace the mount bracket when using the LT5 tensioner. My question is has anyone done this swap because my OEM belt is to big now. I am guessing the pulley geometry is different anybody have a belt size that I need to swap to? I am doing a 2.3 upper later this year so may need another size for that too.

Any help appreciated.

No reason to have swapped. The OEM tensioner will hold everything the factory blower and even a 2650 with an 8 rib can do. When we do our 10 rib setup we go to the LT5 tensioner. I would however try the belt that is used for a 2.175 I do not have it off the top of my head because I'm at home.
