My car has had a set of 275/60/15 mickey thompson et street radial pro's. Most of our local tracks aren't the best "radial" tracks so I am wondering if I should switch to a hoosier d06 slick (we did this with one of our mustangs and it made a good difference). Have any of you guys tested a 15" radial and a slick on your car and are able to give me some feedback on how that worked out for you?
Edit: My car is procharged and makes a touch over 1200rwhp with a built a8 and circle d converter just to give you some info about the car to get a better idea of what I am working with.
Are you going to be running a thin front tire on the front with the bias slick on the back. You will need to do this the slick the slick will help you alot if you warm them up. I went from 1.9 to 1.27 60 ft with a set of slicks on a some what bad track.
