Default I need some fuel system tech help please!!

Ive been looking around for days to try to find what i need....

I have a 2014 base stingray. I installed an A&A Vortech Ti trim with a 3.8 pulley and the car also has catless long tubes and X pipe.

I took the car to the dyno and it was running out of fuel on the top end above 5200 RPM. The car made 598 RWHP and 579 TQ with more in it but the fuel pressure was dropping on the lpfp to around 48psi and the hpfp to 1250psi. They backed the car down to 560/577 and told me i need to upgrade to LT4 fuel system. Does this sound right?

so here are my questions...

Can i just install the LT4 lpfp and hpfp with the stock LT1 injectors? i read something on here that made me think that has been done before.

If i run the LT4 injectors and pumps what else do i need? rails? lines??? How much RWHP does the stock LT4 system support? Im looking for 600-650 but probably closer to 625 realistically.

I just want to run this setup, get it tuned and have it be reliable, i dont need 1000hp.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

Yes that sounds correct. I have the LT4 Injectors, LT4 Pump, DSX Aux Pump. I also have the DSX Flex Fuel sensor, running E60. That is my set up and I am at 640 rwhp. 2016 Stingray, A&A 3.6 Pulley Headers etc. You don't need to change the fuel rails, I did upgrade the fuel line up top.

what he said. I’ve go meth also. Here in Ohio out of pump now is E75 no issues. Don’t run her at that injector pulse width….way to high!!! Max 6.0.

I had a very similar problem. My blower kit was sent with a smaller pulley than expected car was using all the fuel system around 3800 rpm. I upgraded to LT4 HPFP and Injectors. I would absolutely recommend doing both. You will also need new HPFP feed lines as the stock ones are a one time use. My car made 625 with only 11 degrees of timing. Its torn apart at the moment getting a new cam, rebuilt heads, and meth. Going with a larger pulley as well since the new cam should be able to utilize the boost more efficiently. If you don't have a 3 bar MAP I would also highly recommend one of those.

I have ordered a high and low pump and now im just looking for injectors. Do you know the part numbers for the 3 LT4 fuel lines and which MAP sensor i will need?? I was told if i used a different MAP sensor i needed to add an IAT sensor as well and the scaling would be off.

I also used this from the Camaro as it doesn't have a check valve in it like ours do. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ado-12663577 I've heard a few people had issues with the check valve in non stock configurations. I replaced my low side pump as well that was a real B****. I thought the fuel balanced between the saddlebag tanks and it does not. It uses up the passenger side first then uses the driver side. If you have to replace the low side run that car damn near out of gas. LOL. I had to man handle a full tank of gas out and back into the car because I had NOWHERE to dump or store the gas.

This is the MAP I used. Didn’t replace IAT.

Yep! That’s what I’m referring to. I think the purpose of the valve is to keep the system primed. Our fuel systems prime before each start anyway so I don’t really see the purpose especially when you are trying to make power it’s just something else to slow down the low side.
