Default Exhaust

Does the 2019 C7 Grand Sport have the same exhaust system as the stingray? Prior to purchasing the GS I had a 2017 Stingray and the exhaust on the GS sounds much louder.

There is an NPP valved exhaust and a non NPP exhaust. The Z06 NPP does not have AFM valves behind the cats, so only has NPP valves in exhaust pipes. You can see valves inside of rear pipes. Previous owner might have pulled fuse to keep valves open if it's an NPP car. check fuses NPP Fuse #41 (2014), #42 (2015 - 2018), #87 (2019). If it's an NPP you can build a switch to work the valves manually https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ob-how-to.html Mine are operated by the Homelink buttons. I hope this helps a little

Interesting, how did you link those to Homelink?

Or for those that are lazy like me just buy a Mild to Wild Switch and link that to your Home Link buttons

The remote relay we use in the DIY allows you to program to the Homelink buttons. It comes with remotes.. My build is the one last in the link I sent. The beauty of the DIY is no cutting holes in your fuse box, no mounting a little box anywhere, all self contained within fuse box and can be removed in seconds
