Thorton Chip Tuning????? Seems like snake oil! Thoughts or experiences. Their ads pop up now and then on the Forum. Their claims are pretty outlandish. They offer a Stage 3 dongle for a 60HP increase for only $89.95. How can I pass that up????

Chip tunes like these would be marginal at best, and completely useless on naturally aspirated engines.Skip the snake oil OTS (off the shelf) fake chip tunes and get a real ECU tune done by professionals that understand the product, take your data logs, and tweak the parameters to fit your car and your circumstances.

On the chip it has the famous "UP TO" which means anything from 0 up to 60 is achievable. Kinda like 3 card monte.

Didn't think you were.. besides I bought all of their stock out... I will use multiple chips so I can get to 1100 RWHP
