Default ✅SOLUTION‼️ Turn signal cancel stopped working ✅SOLUTION‼️

I have a 2014 and my turn signal stalk no longer cancels after completing a turn. Is this just a simple stalk replacement or does it require pulling the airbag to get to? Does anybody have any DIY info on this? I have a pretty extensive warranty policy on it but hate to pay a deductible if its a $40 fix. The part number is 20868849 and looks to be right around the $40 mark. I just wanted to make sure replacing the stalk would fix the issue vs something else within the steering column causing it not to cancel.

Default ✅solution‼️

It looks like it is completely replaced as a module. No more signal cancellation cams in the steering column.

Here is the procedure to replace the column turn signal module. It is hard to capture all of the page links from one section of the manuals to another but I think I have all of them for both manual and auto transmissions. PM me if I missed any.

Bill

I know this was over a year ago but I ordered the Stalk right after this message and just NOW finally did it. Super simply, one bolt on the bottom and two on the front (turning wheel left/right) to access them. Pushed in the tabs to release the lever, snapped the new one in, connected the harness and reassembled. Next time it would probably take under 5 mins. Thanks again!

Do you have these attachedments as a single PDF file? That is good generic info.

Thanks,

Rob

IF you want to save it to your PC, right click on the image and select a way to save the file. I see 16 or so IMG files that he posted to give the information.
