Default Wireless CarPlay

Hi I was wondering if anyone has tried the wireless CarPlay adapters out there that can recommend one. I have purchased the carlinkit 3.0 and it has been a huge disappointment. It disconnects more than it stays connected.

I have seen some people recommend the carplay2air adapter also but state it has sound and issues syncing as well. Just looking to see if anyone has found a solution that has worked.

I use this and like it. I had some trouble syncing it and actually used my wife’s jeep to connect it and moved it to my 2016. I bought one for hers the next day. Really like it. However, it goes in my armrest. It’ll disconnect at times behind the screen

I've had the Carplay2air for 2 years, and really like it. I have had no connection problems at all so far. Works great with Waze, Maps, etc. No comment on music quality, as I use an old iPod for that.

Wireless carplay is a choice. If it's wired and you're running a map (GPS), then your phone will charge as those kind of APPs eat phone batteries. If you're wireless, then you need to worry about the phone charge. I usually have the phone in my pocket to play the music on my phone or talk on it. If I use Google maps or the like, I plug it in to keep my battery up to par.

I purchased Carplay2air about a year ago, and have had no issues with it. I'd recommend it!

thank you this is the one I ended up with. I started with the carlinkit and it is horrible. Looks like the same firmware on the backend for carplay2air but I have had no issues this far.
